The battery management system software and hardware are organically combined to realize management and control functions. Among them, the hardware includes the master control module (BCU) and the slave control module (CSU), which are mainly composed of integrated circuits (chips), power semiconductors, resistors, capacitors, PCB and other electronic devices; the software consists of a number of embedded software, including drivers layer software, interaction layer software and application layer software.
The main control module and the slave control module are placed in the energy storage battery main control box and the slave control battery respectively. Among them, the main control box includes the BMS main control module, other auxiliary electrical modules and structural parts; the slave control battery is composed of the BMS slave control block, batteries and other auxiliary electrical modules.
The battery management system includes a master control module, a slave control module, and various embedded software. These are the core capabilities of BMS manufacturers, and manufacturers in the industry are generally independently developed. General devices include integrated circuits (chips), power semiconductors, resistors, capacitors, PCBs and other electronic components, which are the basic components of hardware modules. Similar to battery companies, general electronic components are obtained through external procurement.
This type of general-purpose device alone cannot realize the functions of a battery management system. It needs to be mounted according to the circuit design drawing and the embedded software must be burned to eventually form a complete battery management system.
